What Details Will Be Available in the Final Score?
The final score information relates to the marks used during the recruitment process. Candidates should carefully review the details made available to them.
The score calculation takes account of the normalised written examination marks and applicable marks for preferential qualifications supported by the required documents. These were used in preparing district-wise merit under the applicable recruitment rules.
If you find a technical problem while accessing the marks, follow the instructions on the official portal or use the complaint facility indicated by the board. Avoid sharing your registration details, date of birth or other login information with unauthorised websites or individuals.
UP Home Guard Final Merit List 2026: District-Wise Selection
The UP Home Guard final selection list covers all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh. The board selected 41,424 candidates against the same number of advertised vacancies.
Candidates should check the district-wise selection list relevant to their application. The official recruitment website is the primary source for the final selection information and related cut-off details.
The individual scorecard and district-wise merit list serve different purposes. The scorecard helps a candidate check their own marks, while the merit list shows the selection outcome and district-wise details published by the board.
Category-Wise Selection Details
According to reporting on the final result, the selected candidates included the following category-wise numbers:
| Category | Selected candidates |
|---|---|
| Unreserved (UR) | 8,502 |
| Economically Weaker Section (EWS) | 6,950 |
| Other Backward Classes (OBC) | 21,580 |
| Scheduled Caste (SC) | 10,932 |
| Scheduled Tribe (ST) | 410 |
Note: The EWS figure is reported within the unreserved category breakdown in the cited reporting, so it should not be added again to the total. Candidates should consult the official merit lists for the category and district details applicable to their selection.
The selection list also includes 8,290 women candidates, according to reporting on the final result.
How Was the UP Home Guard Final Merit List Prepared?
The recruitment process included a written examination, document verification, a Physical Standard Test and a Physical Efficiency Test.
The written examination was conducted on April 25, 26 and 27, 2026. Because the examination took place in multiple shifts, the board used normalised marks under the applicable rules.
Candidates were shortlisted for subsequent stages based on their written examination performance and the applicable preferential qualification marks. After document verification and physical tests, the final selection was prepared using district-wise merit and the applicable reservation rules.
The board’s selection process also included verification of relevant educational qualifications, preferential qualification documents, and reservation certificates, wherever applicable.
What Should Candidates Do After Checking Their Marks?
Candidates should save a copy of their score information and compare it with the relevant official recruitment instructions.
If you have been selected, continue to follow official communications regarding medical examination, verification and other formalities. The final result does not remove the need to complete any remaining checks required by the recruitment authority.
If you have not been selected, review the official merit list and cut-off details for your district and category. Do not rely on unofficial claims about selection or changes to the result.
