RRB ALP City Slip 2026 Is Not the Admit Card
Candidates should understand the difference between the city intimation slip and the e-call letter.
The city intimation slip provides advance information about the examination city and date, helping candidates make travel arrangements. It does not replace the examination admission document.
The e-call letter is expected to be available approximately four days before the scheduled examination. Candidates should download it as soon as it becomes available and carefully check the examination centre, reporting time and instructions.
Candidates should not travel to the examination centre based only on the city intimation slip without checking the final examination-entry instructions.
Aadhaar Authentication Mandatory for RRB ALP CBT-1
The official notice highlights Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication at the examination centre.
Candidates must bring their original Aadhaar card or an e-verified Aadhaar printout for entry verification, as specified in the notice. Candidates should also ensure that their Aadhaar authentication details are ready before reaching the examination centre.
The notice advises candidates to authenticate their identity through Aadhaar verification, if they have not already completed the process, by logging in to the official RRB application portal.
Candidates are also advised to ensure that their Aadhaar remains in an unlocked condition in the UIDAI system to avoid inconvenience during examination-centre verification.
Check Your Aadhaar Details Before the Examination
The Railway Recruitment Board has advised candidates to verify their Aadhaar information in advance.
Candidates should ensure that:
- Their name matches the name recorded on their Class 10 certificate.
- Their date of birth is correct.
- Their latest photograph is available.
- Their biometric information has been updated where required.
- Their address and father’s name are correctly recorded.
Candidates should resolve any applicable identity-verification issues before examination day. Completing these checks in advance can help reduce the risk of delays during registration and biometric verification at the examination centre.
RRB ALP E-Call Letter 2026: When Will It Be Available?
According to the official notice, downloading of e-call letters will start approximately four days before the respective examination dates.
Candidates scheduled to appear on November 3, 4 or 5 should monitor the official portal according to their individual examination schedule.
After downloading the e-call letter, candidates should carefully check their name, examination date, centre address, reporting time and other instructions. They should follow the document requirements and entry rules specified by the Railway Recruitment Board.
The city intimation slip alone should not be treated as permission to enter the examination hall.
SC/ST Candidates: Travel Authority Information
The notice also refers to the facility for eligible SC/ST candidates to view examination city and date details and download the Travel Authority.
Eligible candidates should log in through the designated link and check whether their travel authority is available.
Candidates should verify the applicable conditions and instructions in their examination documents before making travel arrangements.
