COURSE DESCRIPTION

Electronics and Communication encompasses an exceptionally broad range of technology. It has hugely influenced the development of modern society. Using electronics today is so much a part of our daily lives we hardly think of the way the world would be without electronics. Everything from Electronics gadgets, Wireless internet, home automation, and satellite communication to medical field uses electronics or electronic components in some way. Today many scientific and technical disciplines deal with different aspects of electronics. Research in these fields has led to the development of such key devices as transistors, integrated circuits, and optical fibers. These in turn have made it possible to manufacture a wide range of electronic consumer, industrial, medical product and military products. Indeed, it can be said that the world is in the midst of an electronic revolution at least as significant as the industrial revolution of the 21st century.
