Engineering Chemistry Lab has a specious area for conducting different experiments by the students under constant vigil of the qualified Teachers. The Lab maintains a good stock of a wide range of chemicals. It is equipped with various appropriate Glass Wares and instruments. The laboratory has the provision of conducting quantitative analysis, included in the curriculum for the engineering students. The other jobs for the students include determination of hardness of water, Oxygen available (BOD) in water, determination of pH of acid, different types of titration process, determination of amount of certain metals in its ore, determination of concentration of a solution and so on. All these knowledge in the practical classes help the students to learn their new subject of “Environmental Engineering” in a more comprehensive manner.
