Library: The institute boasts of a well equipped library, which besides books, journals and newspapers, houses a 100-seat reading room. The current repertoire is 17500+ books (1400 titles) for B. Tech and 3500+ books (200 titles) for Diploma.

Hostel: Hostel facility for gentlemen is available inside the campus while the ladies hostel is situated outside the campus at an extremely secure location. Apart from general guards, personal security is also deployed at both hostels.

Hot and cold water facilities and Wi-Fi are available at all rooms in both the hostels. The total capacity for the Boys’ hostel is 120; construction is underway to increase the same to 200. For ladies, accommodation capacity currently stands at 22. Apart from indoor games facilities, the on-campus hostel can avail of a full-length football ground. The college management is extremely particular about cleanliness, maintenance, and hygienic living conditions and regular audits are conducted to ensure the same.

Canteen: The college canteen plays an important role by catering to the daily nutritional requirements of students and staff members. The college offers a well ventilated canteen with adequate lighting facility. The eatables served in the canteen are prepared under hygienic conditions and are of admirable quality and a treat for the taste buds.

Food is prepared and served under the watchful eyes of trained supervisors and is served to students at economical rates. Canteen functions from 8:30 AM to 10:00 PM to serve food to both day scholars and for those staying in hostels as well as the staff. The food is served four times which includes breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner.

Transportation: MIET operates its own fleet of buses and cars for the ease of travel of students, parents, staff, faculty, and guests from Bandel Railway station to the college and back. These ply at regular intervals during morning and evening hours under strict supervision. Particular attention is paid to cleanliness and maintenance of the fleet to ensure trouble-free commute.
