COURSE DESCRIPTION

Electrical Engineering is a major department of this Institute. Department of Electrical Engineering is actively engaged in teaching and research activities with modern laboratories and excellent faculty members. Our Faculty members consistently upgrade their knowledge by attending various training programs and participating in numerous National and International Conferences to present and publish Research Papers.

The department has six major subjects, namely, Electrical Machines, Power Electronics & Drives, Control Systems, Power Systems, Electrical & Electronics measurement, and Electric Circuit Theory. The Department has excellent and well-equipped Laboratories for Electrical Machines, Basic Electrical, Power Electronics & Drives, Systems, Electrical & Electronics measurement, etc. The Department regularly organizes Seminars on Technology as well as Industrial current topics. Industrial Visits and Technical festivals are regularly conducted for students as well as faculty members.

The Department offers an eight-semester Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) course and a six-semester Diploma course.
